LL.B. stands for only for Bachelor of Laws in English. In Latin, the abbreviation is expanded as Legum Baccalaureus. It is basically a three year degree course offered by various universities across the globe to students who wish to have a career in legal profession.
LL.B. is pursued basically after the completion 3 Years of graduation in either streams i.e. Science, Commerce or Humanities (Arts).
Eligibility criteria for admission : LL.B. (3 years) 10+2+3/4/5 with minimum 45% marks for Gen, 42% marks for OBC and 40% marks for SC/ST (All streams)
PO1 | Explore and explain the substantial & procedural laws in which they are made/ drafted and how students think and understand the legislative setup. |
PO2 | Interpret And Analyze the legal and social problems and work towards finding solutions to the problems by application of laws and regulations. |
PO3 | Inculcate values of Rights and Duties, and transfer these values to real-life through legal and judicial process for promoting community welfare. |
PO4 | Apply ethical principles and commit to legal professional ethics, responsibilities and norms of the established legal practices. |
PO5 | Recognize the need for and have the preparation and ability to engage in independent and life-long learning in the broader context of legal change. |
PSO1 | Acquire advance knowledge in the specific field of law chosen for the specialization. |
PSO2 | Students are equipped with the knowledge of teaching methods through the subject on Teaching Pedagogy thereby enabling them to enter the teaching profession. |
PSO3 | The students get acquainted with research methods through the subject of Research Methodology. |
PSO4 | Through compulsory research component in the form of Dissertation, the students learn to conduct research study. |
